An amazing response to Christmas Toy Appeal
Waltham Funeral Service in East Yorkshire was overwhelmed by the charitable spirit shown by local residents and businesses when they launched their Christmas Toy Appeal.
Consultant funeral director David Emberson said: "It is touching that so many people have called in with such an abundance of gifts"
The toys, games, books and chocolates were donated to representatives from a local women's refuge. They gifts were wrapped and distributed to the many children in residence over the festive period.
