C S Bowyer sponsors Wiltshire Home Guard Event
On Sunday 23rd July, Dignity owned C S Bowyer in Westbury sponsored the Wiltshire Home Guard Event which was held at Westbury Court Care Home.
The theme was 1940’s afternoon tea and entertainment which the elderly residents thoroughly enjoyed. The `Home Guard’ helped with the event, they displayed a mock up of a typical 1940’s house, Police station, sentry box and unexploded bomb area.
Wartime music and songs were played and the refreshments were also the type that would have been served during 1940’s wartime. Pre-paid plans and information packs were available for anyone interested at the event.
