Crematorium grounds awarded 1st place in Brentwood in Bloom
Bentley Crematorium took first place in the Brentwood in Bloom competition in the category for 'Best Maintained Commercial Religious Ground 2014'.
The crematorium was announced the winner and presented with a plaque on Thursday 31 July by Mayor of Brentwood, Vicky Davies, at the Brentwood Brewery Company.
Michelle Hales, manager of Bentley Crematorium, said: "It was suggested by the competition organisers that we show off our beautiful grounds and Memorial Garden in the competition and we thought it would be a fantastic idea. We are over the moon with the success we’ve had here over the last two years and hope that it continues for many years to come."
