Dignity's John Laker presents a cheque for £1.000 to Lydia Constantinou of CARIS Islington.
Donation to support bereavement counsellors
Regional manager for North London, John Laker, recently presented a cheque for £1,000 on behalf of Dignity to support CARIS Islington, a charity that provides a bereavement counselling service for vulnerable people.
The donation will provide much needed financial aid to the 45 volunteer counsellors who dedicate their time to helping bereaved people with complex personal issues.
When donating the cheque, John met with the manager of the CARIS Islington, Lydia Constantinou to discuss ways how Dignity funeral homes in the area could offer further support to the charity to help support the excellent work they do for the community.
