Dignity staff Jo Tolley, Funeral Manager, Elizabeth Neal-Alcock, Funeral Service Arranger and Amanda George, Funeral Manager were in attendance at the event.
Guests were then invited to write the names of their loved ones on silver stars which were attached to Dignity balloons.
The balloons were released in the parish gardens into the sky. Those who attended commented on how beautiful the cakes and strawberries were and how touched they were by the balloon release.

“The afternoon was beautiful; lots of lovely food, good company all sharing in some very special moments as the group released the balloons in memory of our loved ones.
Members of the Bereavement Support Group find it really helpful to just take time with friends and share in precious moments together, all experiencing similar emotions. I am extremely thankful for all those who helped and made the afternoon possible. I felt very privileged to share in such a special afternoon.”
