Funeral director receives award for Outstanding Customer Care
On Friday 9 October, funeral director, Oliver Coote, and colleagues from L Fulcher Funeral Directors attended a glittering awards ceremony organised by Bury Free Press to present awards to outstanding local businesses and individual's in West Suffolk.
Oliver had been nominated by a client for the Customer Care Award having arranged and conducted funerals on several occasion’s for the family. Oliver's client said that each time they required his services, their grieving was helped by the knowledge that all of the arrangements were in capable hands.
Having been made aware of his nomination two months prior to the ceremony, there was a great deal of suspense within the office of L Fulcher, Whiting Street, whilst awaiting news of whether Oliver had reached the final! When news filtered through that he had, the wait was then on for the big event itself and there was much jubilation amongst his group of very proud colleagues, including Kevin Banham, regional manager, when the award was presented to him.
"This was a wonderful display of public recognition for the hard work and dedication given by Oliver and his colleagues at L Fulcher," said Kevin.
