Harry is flippin' brilliant in pancake race competition
On Tuesday 28th March, Harry Hamlin, a Funeral Director at C S Bowyer in Bradford on Avon took part in the towns annual Pancake Race.
Ten competitors from the town took part in the race including Harry from C S Bowyer and runners from Parson's Bakery, the Fat Fowl, the Swan Hotel, Green Life, Christine's Sustainable Supermarket, the Secret Garden, Fetch pet shop, Poppies Tea Rooms and Gilou’s Café.
The competitors lined up at the start by the Town Bridge with members of the public watching on to see who would be crowned winner of this year's race. From the start Harry headed out in front, after reaching the other side of the bridge, the runners flipped their pancakes and made a mad dash for the finish line.
First to cross the line was Harry followed by runners from Gilou's Café and Parson's Bakery. Harry was presented with a frying pan trophy by Mayor of Bradford on Avon, Alison Craddock.
C S Bowyer are now the proud owners of the trophy which will stay with the branch until next year's race.
