Religious leaders bless refurbished premises
B Bernard & Sons in Scarborough has been helping bereaved families for 90 years and recently held a Service of Re-dedication to bless its newly refurbished premises.
Ministers attending the Service included Rural Dean Reverend David Pynn from the Church of England, Reverend Jason Macullagh, a minister from St Andrew's Church and the chairman of Scarborough Free Churches, and Father William Massie of the Catholic churches.
Ann Kitto, funeral manager, said: "The Service of Re-dedication of our chapels was arranged as there is the importance of our clients knowing that the Chapels of Rest have been recognised with a dedicated blessing carried out by clergy of various denominations."
