South East Regional Awards celebrate best business practice
Members of the management team from across the South East Region gathered at the Deans Place Hotel in Alfriston on Wednesday 10 June for the sixth South East Regional Awards.
This year, Kenyon, Tributes, Just Digital, Heritage Horse Drawn Carriages, Lyn Oakes, Wilcox and Winston's Wish all sponsored the individual awards and a representative from each company presented their award to the winners of each category.
Lee Goacher, regional manager, said: “The Regional Awards are held every other year and Local Awards are held in between and in the lead up to the Regional Awards. This year saw the largest attendance, with seventy members of the management team present.”

“The criteria for the awards remain the same each year and are taken from statistical documented reports for each category,” added Lee.
Prior to the awards, staff were able to take part in a raffle to win various prizes. Colin Bleach won the first prize of £500 holiday vouchers and Jesse Gratwick came second with a £500 voucher for bespoke tailoring. Both Christine Baker and Carl Wilson won £120 worth of London Theatre Tickets in third place and the six runners up, Amie Pantrey, Jeff Tyrell, Caroline Swinden, Barbara Fuller, David Roberts and Lynn Murphy, each won Marks and Spencers vouchers worth £100.
The raffle raised a total of £1,245 for Winston's Wish and Marie Curie. The money was divided between the two charities and half of the sum was presented to Corinne Mason who was representing Winston's Wish on the day.
